About Reed Home Solutions

Reed Home Solutions is a remodeling and general contracting company based in Gypsum, Colorado, owned and run by Jace Reed. Jace combines years of local construction and water-damage restoration experience with a simple goal: answer quickly, estimate clearly and build work that lasts in mountain conditions.

Jace got into construction in the valley roughly a decade ago and has worked across Eagle County ever since. Much of that time has been in water-damage restoration, covering territory from Vail to Glenwood Springs, Carbondale and Aspen: opening walls after leaks, writing insurance estimates for water losses, and working through scope with adjusters, property managers and homeowners.

Restoration teaches you how houses fail. Shower pans without waterproofing, decks without ledger flashing, supply lines in cold exterior walls. Those lessons are built into every Reed Home Solutions project.

What we believe

  • Speed matters. Construction is not new to anyone. The contractor who answers questions quickly and turns estimates around fast is the one you want to work with.
  • Communication is the job. You get an update every working day. Surprises come the day we find them, with options and prices before work proceeds.
  • Finish what we start. No disappearing mid-project. The punch list gets done, down to the last outlet cover.
  • Stand with you on the claim. We document the damage and write the full scope so the approved repair matches what actually happened. We are your contractor, not a public adjuster, and we never waive deductibles.
  • Do it permitted. Owner Jace Reed is certified to pull permits, and we build to code so the work counts when you sell or file a claim.
  • Use people you trust. Our subcontractor network for framing, tile, flooring, carpet, insulation, drywall, paint and roofing comes from years of working together.

Recent work

Recent projects include a fully permitted renovation of a home in Edwards that added rooms and brought the house up to current code, a completed home renovation earlier this year, ongoing deck projects, and a flat-roof system on a condo building in Vail installed with our roofing partner.
